Men and women work hard in the Golden Triangle. Sometimes it’s easy to fall into the habit of thinking that working hard is enough.
If you have someone special back at the house, making it a home, Valentine’s Day is a good reminder not to take your loved one for granted.
We don’t intend for it to happen. We all start out in love and with the intention of always making our spouse feel loved. Most of us keep it up for a few years anyway, or try to.
Then, we get tired. We get into our routine. Work hard. Eat dinner. Sleep. Repeat.
Valentine’s Day is a good time to revive that feeling of love and making everyone feel special.
Did you used to love to dance together? Head to Banita Creek Hall or Honky Tonk Texas and hit the dance floor.
Is there a special meal or restaurant that you enjoyed while you were dating? Take the time to head back to your special place. Do you need a new one? We enjoy Auntie Pasta’s in Nacogdoches, Yuka Hibachi and Sushi in Mid County, and The Cedar Tree in Jasper.
Do you love the beach? Head down to Holloy Beach or Crystal Beach and take a walk in the sand together. If you choose Crystal Beach, watch the sunset from The Stingaree.
It is important to work hard. It is also important to take some time to tell the special people in our lives how much they mean to us and that we still value them, every day.
We hope you’re able to enjoy this Valentine’s Day.
If you ever need help with your home or business septic system, we’d love the opportunity to earn your business.
