Best Wishes for a Happy Mexican Independence Day from East Texas Sewer and Septic
September 16th is Mexican Independence Day, their July 4th.
In Mexico, Independence Day is a much bigger, more significant, holiday than Cinco de Mayo.
Locally, there are traditionally celebrations held in Lufkin, Port Arthur, and Beaumont
Some of our favorite places to commemorate the day are:
La Unica Restaurant in Lufkin: Some of the most authentic Mexican food in East Texas, run by a wonderful family who are very kind and giving to the community.
Juan’s Mexican Food in Lumberton: Devoted fans regularly pack this Hardin County favorite. Menu items a great, but don’t miss their excellent specials.
Carlito’s in Beaumont. You can regularly find multiple generations of the Hernandez family checking on their repeat customers.
La Suprema Restaurant in Nederland. The Martinez family has owned La Suprema restaurant for four generations. In addition to traditional Tex Mex dishes, La Suprema is known for fresh Gulf Coast seafood including their crab empanadas.
