Halloween Wishes from Allison Wright Insurance in Lumberton
Each year, the children of the Golden Triangle look forward to Halloween.
One could argue that it’s the holiday that is most about the kids.
In the Golden Triangle, they participate in elaborate neighborhood trick or treating. Adults will decorate their homes and yards and greet the children with candy.
Schools and churches host trunk or treat events, which were designed to provide Halloween fun in the safest possible environment. Most East Texas and Golden Triangle communities have at least one. Smaller towns often have 2-3 churches get together to host a large trunk or treat or fall festival.
One of our favorite events is a twist on the old “dunking for apples tradition”. Donuts are tied up and blind folded kids try to grab them with their mouths. It sounds simple, but man it isn’t.
In Southeast Texas, Halloween really isn’t too scary.
It certainly isn’t as scary as flooding, tornadoes, or car accidents.
The right insurance can take some of that fear away.
Let us know when we can help.
