Did you know a number of families across the Golden Triangle make knives together?

For some, it is a fun hobby. For others it is a way to get the “just right” blade for skinning a deer, carving the holiday turkey, or hunting hogs.

Are you interested in blacksmithing?

Classes are offered at the Spindletop Glady City Museum. Their resident blacksmith Rob Flurry has the skills to handle everything from making horseshoes to fixing the family buggy.
